Hit and Run
Had a dream last night. I was in my car and there was another car with two people I recognize. I stepped on the gas pedal and try to hit them but I slammed on the brake inches before hitting them. What does that mean?

Mnet Asian Music Award 2010
Mnet Asian Music Award 2010 aka MAMA 2010 was a Korean music award show. It's like those year-end award show like everywhere else. This one is held at Macau, China back in the beginning of December. I was excited to watch this show since it was the first big Korean award show being broadcasted on a Chinese channel. Then, the disappointment came. Chinese dub over Korean speeches. It won't be bad if the dub was good but it wasn't!!! The dub sounded "live" and "improvised". The translation was really bad and monotone. For example, three different female Korean presenters were introducing but the dub was by the same person with monotone. They even dub people "hahaha"... WTF!!! This kind of show should be used with original sound and put subtitles under instead. I am very disappointed with the production by Fairchild TV. I think they also cut some scenes due to the choppiness of the show; it has no good flow.
The only thing that saves the horrendous Chinese dub was the performances.
Miss A had Chinese lyrics for "Bad Girl Good Girl" and "Breathe": refreshing
2PM had an artistic performance: love it! A LOT of cheers for Nichkhun
i-Me (Chinese girl idols group) lip-synced their way through the song: similar dances to KARA, SNSD, and T-ARA
Perfrume (Japanese girl idols group): Jpop songs... *shrug*
DJ Doc: very charismatic
Gummy: cool haircut, great performance and great vocal as usual
2NE1 pumped up the crowds with Clap Your Hands. Even Min from Miss A was dancing to it. 2PM's Wooyoung was singing to Don't Stop.
Huk Gak - winner of Superstar K2. Powerful voice.
Taeyang, TOP, and G-Dragon - awesome performance with their first GD&TOP's song. 2PM's Taecyeon is rocking with TOP's rap.
Chemistry - an extremely popular Japanese male group. Used to listen to them; still as nice now. Lots of fans from Macau. 2PM loves them, too.
Far East Movement - they rise to fame this year with Like a G6. Nice performance, very club feel.
Wonder Girls - they performed their hit song, "So Hot" but got more cheers when camera zoomed to Nichkhun, Junsu, Wooyoung, and Dara. They also performed "2 Different Tears" and finally, their worldwide hit, "Nobody". Hyelim was touching Nichkhun... big nono...
Yoon Eun Hye was presenting Album of the Year. Surprised to see her.
That's all I caught on TV. Overall, it's a good show.
Pros: all the performances by different artists
Cons: the dubbing, bad timing, bad translation, and bad pronunciation in English
Improvement: use subtitles next time
Rating: 7/10

Season's Greetings
A friend of mine once posted a question, "Why do we celebrate Christmas?"
For those religious people who answered, "The birth of Jesus Christ," they are not 100% correct. No one actually know the exact date of birth of Jesus Christ. The date is just an approximation and December 25th is just a widely accepted date. Isn't Jesus Jewish?
Now, ask yourself the same question, "Why do you celebrate Christmas?"
Why do non-religious people celebrate Christmas? The Jews celebrate Hanukkah, that's fair.
I don't want to ruin people's Christmas and their Christmas spirit. Just sit and think about this after this holiday.
Happy holidays!

Holiday Wishes
Not asking for much, maybe I am.
This holiday, I wish the homeless people will get some warm clothes if not a home.
Those who are in love, stay in love.
Those who are looking, found it.
Those who are looking for jobs, found them.
Those who are struggling in life, don't give up.
Life is a bitch, I know, so suck it up. I know I am.
As for myself, I don't need any materialistic things to make me happy.
Happy holidays!!!

Frustration
So frustrated today... ARGH!
I really need to get a punching bag before something bad happens.
I wish life is a living person so I can punch it.

Why Bother?
Why do I even bother having facebook or twitter or msn? No one talks to me anyways.
Does that mean I have no friends? Probably.
If I shut it all down, are people going to care or wonder where I went? Probably not.
That's why I don't like holiday season. It makes me lonelier than I already am.

Girl Groups Addiction
Can't stop listening to couple korean girl groups' songs lately. I usually have favourite ones like 2NE1 and KARA. These few days, I have been listening to Co-ed and T-ara.
Co-ed is a cool band as it is the first Korean "co-ed"/boys-girls-mixed idol groups that I've seen. Their songs are really nice and their outfits are not too revealing. Unfortunately, only couple of people manage to sing in each song and they are the same people which makes the rest of the group as backup dancers. I hope they get a chance to show off their actual vocal skills. My favourite is Chanmi because she can actually sings in the group and sings the most out of the girls. I Love You A Thousand Times is a great song to show off their vocal skills without autotune.
T-ara is another interesting girl group. Their song, "Why Are You Being Like This?", is a catchy song and I like that tune. It feels a bit oldies. It's hard to explain. I like that song. But they added a new member. Is she really needed? Who knows...
Now... SNSD, I personally think half of them aren't even needed except for image-impacted; hate me all you want because it is true. Someone actually did a rough estimate on how much time each member sings. That's not including the "all together chorus". SNSD has an average length of 9.4s. That's not much. For some songs, they don't even have a solo or line. I understand each song is different but why do we even need more than 5 members in a group. I think 5 is really pushing it, that's if they each have a special skills. SNSD is only famous because of their choreography dances, "cute" images, and catchy songs. They never really prove themselves vocal skill-wise except for Taeyeon and Jessica who did collaboration with other artists.
Personally, I think Co-ed can make it big if other members have a chance to show off their skills. Their songs are nice, too. Unfortunately, there is a rumor that a new female member will be added to them. WHY?! They don't need anymore backup dancers. My guess is media attraction. If each member attracts 10 fans, more members equal more fans. Look at SNSD!!! You can tell by now, I am not a fan of them. I don't hate them but I don't think they are a good vocal group as a whole. They just have lots of fanboys/fangirls who think they are cute. Some other girl groups or even solo artists deserve more attention, such as: Navi, Gummy, Brown Eyed Girls, and Lyn. But it's Korea, what do I know.

Makes You Think: 6
If a doctor is sick, does he/she self-diagnose their symptoms or do they go see a doctor?
If they decide to see a doctor, do they go to a doctor who is better or not as good as them?

Collabo
There are a lot of collaboration between artists in any culture especially in music. Personally, I love it the most is when a female and a male have a collaboration together; both parts must be lengthy, not a 10 seconds clip. Lengthy parts make the song sound more like a story and each has their own opinions. Koreans have many of those, so have the Westerners.
Some of the good ones:
Eminem ft. Rihanna - Love the Way You Lie
Rihanna ft. Eminem - Love the Way You Lie Part 2
Oh Won Bin ft. Miryo - I Love You and I Love You (there is a HyunA version but she hasn't mastered the rapping part yet but nice on the soft part)
MC Mong ft. Mellow - Sick Enough to Die
IU and Seulong - Nagging
Navi ft. Crown J - Heart Damage (Others versions include Jaebum/Jay Park and Taecyeon)

Dream Decipher
Dreams can be explained sometimes when it's very obvious.
I had a dream this morning. I was at a lecture hall studying about poetry. - What the heck? - I was getting bored so I decided to sneak out during the break. I walked and walked but I still couldn't leave the institution I entered into another lecture about social relationship. I decided to sit in because the lecturer asked me to. I couldn't sit long because I REALLY need to go to the washroom. Here is the funny and graphic part so *please stop reading* if you cannot handle graphic description of poop. So I entered the washroom, it had the most advanced toilet but I couldn't use it so I left and looked for another one. I found an outdoor toilet. It's pretty much in a tent. The grossest part of this is... you poop openly... yes... it's gross... I know. Everybody can see you do business. Surprisingly, everybody does it and they have to change their own toilet because the "toilet" is a plastic bag on a bathtub. You poop on the plastic bag and you change it. It's pretty nasty. Finally, I woke up from the horror that I dreamed. I realized I really need to poop, hahahahaha. Must be the spicy oil I had last night.
Weird dream again, I know. This one does tell me what is going through my head lately. Poetry is because a chinese TV drama show I've been watching this week. Social relationship is because how to interact with people with different personality whether they are good, bad, or horrible. School is well... school and escaping. Finally, I NEEDED TO POOP!

A very power piece describing a kind of people who likes to care about other people before himself/herself. You would think, does this kind of person really exist? Care for others before himself. Think deep for a minute. Think about those who are/were always there for you if you need help/counsel/comforting during a difficult time. They would be there no matter what. Don't mean to brag but I was one of those people. Willing to carry everything on my back, other's problems and pain and suffering. Always on my shoulders and back. Why I said I was? Because I don't anymore. Why? I am getting tired. I didn't do it to get people to pity me. I did it for being nice and caring. Now, I just don't care anymore. There are too many problems around the world and enough problems of my own. I need to deal with my shit loads of problems before helping anyone. Don't give up hope, there are plenty of others just like me. But be thankful that they are there when you needed. They are people, too. They also need a break like me. You just don't know when.

11:11 - Make a Wish
At 11:11 am or pm, make a wish.
You can only do that if you look at the clock unintentionally in order to do that.
It's a urban myth spread by people but it's a good boost like a wish or hope.
For more information, google/yahoo/bing it.
Today is November 11th, it's also Remembrance Day/Veteran's Day. For some, it's a memorable day for veterans. For some, it's just a free holiday in the middle of a week. For me, it's just another day.

iDog
Found a very cute and smart clip of a Jack Russell. His name is Jessie. He can do a lot of tricks and including some of the common household tasks like taking newspapers, taking off owner's shoes and clothes, etc. If I have a dog, I am just thankful if he/she listens to me. If he/she can do tricks, I would have the bestest friend ever. Go subscribe to his channel and check out this video of his!
Weather Lottery
Weather forecast shouldn't be called a forecast because they are wrong 40% of the time especially the weather in Vancouver. Yesterday afternoon, I was having lunch at home while listening to the radio. The weather forecast announced a high chance of rain in the Greater Vancouver Region District. I looked out the window... blue sky and bright sunlight. Right... are they forecasting next day or something? Some time after, around dinner time, I was still waiting for the rain to drop. Still... nothing. Good job, weather forecast. Once again, you have proved how useless you are.

Extra hour of sleep.
None related... a really burnt finger really hurts more than burnt tongue. OUCH!

Focus on Multitasking
My English is not very good but aren't focus and multi-task are two opposite mentality? When you are focus, you are concentrated on a particular task at hand. When you are multitasking, you are doing many things at once. So how do you focus on multitasking? When I heard people said this, I am confused. You can't focus when you are distracted by millions of other things. You could argue that focus a little bit on each task but your focus is divided up in portions, you are not focused anymore. Next time, for those of you who said this before... don't say that anymore. It doesn't work! Either focus OR multitask, not both.

Efficiently Lazy
I mentioned this LONG time ago. It's about truly being lazy. It's really hard to explain so open your mind a bit.
Being a perfectly lazy person has to be efficient. Why? A lazy person is, well, lazy. They don't want to repeat steps or procedures. It's better to do it once and get it over with. If you can do everything once without repetition or mistakes, you are efficient. You don't need extra time to redo or check everything all over. Does it make sense?
Here is an example. You are asked to wash dishes at home but you feel lazy so you wait for everybody to finish before getting started on dishes. This way, you clean all the dishes in one go instead of cleaning and waiting for people to finish. Your "laziness" delay the washing process BUT at the same time, you increase your efficiency to doing all the dishes only once.
Now, this is true laziness at work. If you can convert your lazy skills into efficiency, people will forget how lazy you are and remember how efficient you truly are.

Picky
Is it so wrong to be picky/selective sometimes?
Don't we all want something better every time? Whether they are cars, jobs, people, clothes, accessories, etc. If we keep the same level of expectation, we would never evolve in our life. People always tell me "beggars can't be choosers". So should I give up any expectation and take whatever I see? NO. It may not make sense to some but I tend aim for something higher or close to it. I rather wait a bit than go for something I don't like and stuck with it.

I rather wait a bit than go for something I don't like and stuck with it.

Intellectual Property
Overheard someone's conversation today...
She: If I don't get married by *insert age*, I'll get a dog.
That's my idea! She stole my idea! I am gonna sue her because anybody can sue for anything now.

Cockroach
I can be tough. I can be in your face. If no one wants me there, I'll leave. I can survive on my own. I don't need to rely friends or colleagues around me to feel happy. They will betray you, talk behind your back, disappoint you in the end anyways. I'll just trust myself and my instincts. Sure, I'll make mistakes along the way but that's best way for me to learn anyways. As long as I am not dead, I'll live everyday my own way. Find my own happiness without the help of people. All I need to do is follow my heart. My heart knows best. Life can beat me down from a man to a cockroach. I'll live as a cockroach and be the tough cockroach. Just watch, life.

Sick Enough to Die
Recently, MC Mong got into trouble for dodging the army duty. We all got into trouble depends on severity. Some are minors and get away with slap on the wrist, some will haunt us for the rest of our lives.
Regardless, MC Mong made some of the nicest collaboration with other female artists. Here is one that will explain 90% of my feelings.

Anger Supernova
So angry, so pissed off...
I felt like throwing stuff and punching things very hard continuously.
After all that... I felt like crying... but I didn't because there is no point and no one will care...
Earth is a beautiful place, just people who lives there made it hideous...

10 -10 -10 -10 -10 -10 -10 -10 -10 -10 = 100
Today is October 10, 2010 which is 10-10-10.
Many people around the world decided to get married on this special day because of the 1s and 0s. It signifies the beginning and the end of marriage which they will stay together forward. It's nice to know that people use this special occasion to get married. There are only two more of those in my life time: 11-11-11 and 12-12-12. After that, it'll be another century to come upon 01-01-01. I'm sure I'll be dead by then.
Here's to congratulate those lucky couples and wish them the best and don't divorce. *knock on wood* I said that because married couples is a minority in Canada now, it's really sad to hear this. What have the world become? Married is supposed to be forever and ever. Now, it's just a piece of paper which you can get rid of easily. I prefer the traditional sense of married where two people are meant to be together and stay together; not a spontaneous moment and regret later.
One of my favourite shows: Japanese Batsu Game from Gaki no Tsukai. Skip to 1:09 for this special video.

Makes You Think: 5
If police/cops busted a drug ring or cartel or stash, they kept the "goods" for evidence.
After the trial, what do they do with it? Put it in the evidence room to let them rot? Dump it?
They could worth more than millions of dollars. Do they re-distribute it back on the street or mobs?

Pet Stores Banned
Richmond is set to become the first Canadian city to ban the sale of dogs in pets store. That's a pretty interesting and bold decision. This is to target puppy mills who bred a bunch of puppies in an inhumane conditions and sell them to pet stores for profits. Those puppies usually have genetic problems because of the inbreeding which is breeding within its family members. I don't think it's enough to stop the puppy mills because they can still sell them online. In owners' perspective, that means more expensive puppies because they have to seek more certified breeds and not cheaper options. In dogs' perspective, it's better condition for their future and growing up.

Should I Wait?
Talked to a co-pilot from Air Canada today. Got some insider's tips... problem is... should I wait?
*sigh*... I think I have already made up my mind.

Death Ray Hotel
Vdara Hotel & Resort in Las Vegas was a great hotel to stay in. Free of smokes and casinos' "bing-bing-bing" machines' sounds. I wish I can stay there for a longer time. It sure was a beautiful and great experience.
Now, Vdara is on the news for firing "death rays" due to its concave design of the building. It creates a magnifying glass effect and burn certain part of the pool area. Few people reported burns quickly. *I just had a deja vu.* I am glad I stayed at the death ray hotel.
Following is the news article about it: Click HERE and HERE

Goo
Suddenly, interested in HOCC aka Denise Ho, 何韻詩.
A female musician from Hong Kong.
I never paid much attention to her or any entertainment or politics from Hong Kong since not much is affected to me.
She got my attention from the TVB drama, OL Supreme or 女王辦公室.
She seems like a fun person through her blogs online.
I really like this one she put.
"AUG 20, 1010
RUN RUN RUN RUN......
To summarize, exercise makes you sweat. According to scientific proofs, people who exercise are happier and have less emotional problems. She thinks sweat glands and tear glands are connected. If we are all sweated out, all the water is used up so we don't have any left for tears. No tears means happier.
I didn't run on treadmill but I do walk til I sweated. It sure feels better afterwards.

Weird Dream 2
Couple nights ago, I had two violent dreams again. Don't remember much now.
Last night, I had a dream about... Twitter... -__-. I was talking with someone through Twitter and a celebrity finally tweeted after weeks of inactivity.
Weird dreams lately, I want a good dream to cheer me up.

Suckmail
Hotmail is down AGAIN!!!
That's twice in a month. It had never happened before. They may be upgrading their server to become better but they should at least warn people about the downtime. It's a bit frustrating. I thought I was hacked when they said my ID and PW don't match.

Waiting...
Sometimes, waiting takes majority of time.
Waiting for browser to load, download, upload.
Even applications for jobs and school, it takes a lot of time to wait.
Don't you wish sometimes they can just give you a feedback whether it's a yes or no immediately?
All these waiting/pending period is seriously throwing out a lot of my planning.

In Memory...
Today is September 11, 2010 in Pacific Standard Time.
Watching a lot of Sept 11th programming about the "terrorism" on United States 9 years ago.
I didn't feel anything 9 years ago but after watching widows/widowers and survivors. I really feel sad about what happened. It doesn't seem like 9 years ago. It still feels like it happened two or three years ago. Some said it's a setup by the government to strike fear in the Americans and excuse to attack Afghanistan. In the end, they still can't find Osama Bin Laden and they attacked Iraq instead. WTF?! I don't really know what is going on but I wish those things never happen again. It's tough to lose someone you care about and love.

This is my 100th blog. It's considered not a lot knowing that I've been using it just over 2 years. That's about once a week. Should I celebrate my 100th blog with something special? Hmm... not sure... I could just list 100 things about me. That's simple enough. Yeah, let's do that!

Mmm... Pasta...
Pasta is a feel-good Korean TV drama. It's about a girl who finally got to be a cook after three years as a kitchen assistant until a new chef shows up. It is a very nice, sweet love story with tasty looking food.
I enjoyed watching it. I always love a happy ending in these kinds of drama. It's fun to watch with few quirky people.
I wish to learn to cook, especially pasta because I am a pasta lover myself.
Posso farle.

iTouch
So Apple has new lines of products again... it's new iPod Touch which I called iTouch... it's shorter. Sounds wrong? Yes but it's shorter. The new iTouch is very much an iPhone 4 without the dropped calls problem. It even has FACETIME! How, you asked? Well, they use wifi apparently. Now that iTouch can use Facetime, what's good is an iPhone? Well... no use unless you actually use the iPhone to talk and text. Other phones can do those with much cheaper price. The new nano is pretty cool, too... if you have small fingers. Check those out if you are an Apple fan.

TV Madless
2010 has been a TV Entertainment year.
In Feb, there was the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. Great TV viewership thanks to no school and unlimited TV coverage by NBC and CBC.
From April to May, there were NHL Playoffs and NBA Playoffs. Spent quite a bit of time in front of the TV.
From June to July there was the World Cup, once again a lot of TV coverage by CBC and TSN for the later games.
Now that summer is in full swing, all the good sports are in offseason. Remaining sports are MLB and golf. Not so interesting to me. Each baseball team plays 162 games a year so missing 10 or 12 is not gonna make a difference. Plus, it's not that interesting until playoff comes. Golf is just... slow.
There are no interesting drams on TV. I guess I'll just do some other stuff away from TV.

Weird Dream 1
I had this weird dream few days before but I just remembered it now.
Scenario:
I was finished steaming corn to eat and I was called to help out to move some furniture so I had to put my corn on top of a sofa. After the move, I couldn't find my corn.
End.
I don't get it... +__+

*booop**boooooop*
In Vancouver, people don't know how to drive. I don't care they are males or females. Overall, they have no sense of other surroundings. More accidents occur during the first rainy day of the month or week. They seem to forget how to drive whenever rain comes after a period of non-rainy days. People like to drive on two lanes and driving lower than the speed limit!!! Personally, I think the speed limit is set as the lower speed limit. It should be a minimum speed or they'll be ticketed. The upper speed limit should be +20km/h to +30km/h depends on traffic.

Rescue Ink is a group of tough guys with tattoos and customized vehicles whose job is to rescue animals whether they are cats, dogs, or chicken.
It's my first time watching them on TV. They are pretty BIG and scary. I can see them as animal lovers. They go around and help people with animal welfare problem and save animals from abuse. I was watching this episode and Rescue Ink, a group of tough guys, had to chase and capture five chickens. It's the funniest thing to watch. They managed to capture one. It's a bit ironic that a bunch of tough guys can handle pit bulls without a problem but having trouble with chickens. Granted, those fowls can FLY!!! Whoever said chickens can't fly, they are not 100% right! One landed on a rooftop!!!
They are a bunch of kind-hearted tough guys. Good for them!

HAPPY 1ST ANNIVERSARY!!!
May 17, 2010
Exactly 1 year anniversary for Korean Girl Group, 2NE1!!!
I am super happy for them. I can't believe they have debuted one year already. They did really well over the year and blew all other rookie girl groups away.
Their hit song, "I Don't Care", even won lots of awards.
Their 2NE1TV by YGE captured their dorkiness off the stage. My favourite girl is Dara! You've probably seen her down few entries. Ms. aDORKable!!! She is such a fun person to be around with. I wish she can be my friend.
Here is their interview on being 1st anniversary.

You guys can also hop to: http://www.yg-2ne1.com/bday to see more the celebration. Warning: It's in Korean.
I can't read ONE word but I am super happy for them!!!

Makes You Think: 4
In America, yes USA, idiots like to streak or run around in a field during a sporting event like baseball or golf or football or tennis. I call them idiots because they will ALWAYS get caught whether they are tackled down or the newest one: tasered down!
Poor guy was running around during a professional baseball game and the security decided to pull out a taser gun and taser the idiot. Sure he'll get his 5 mins of fame and the highlights on sports channels but he didn't think he'll get tasered!
Anyways, a guy going streaking will get tackled down or worse tasered! If a girl goes streaking, will she get tackled down? If she did, can she sue the person for sexual assault?

Korean Gummy Bear
Gummy aka Park Jee Yeon is a South Korean R&B singer.
She has a very nice sound and her songs are great. She may be back from her 2 years hiatus but that's before I started listening to Korean music. She is new to me. Anyways, here is her singing live for one of her songs from her EP album. She is one of my favourite solo artists right now. The other one is Navi.

Celebrity Rant
Justin Bieber: getting very sick of him and his name. He is soooo overrated. He looks like a kid who will never hit puberty.
Nick Cannon: he used to be cool. Ever since he married Mariah Carey, he is acting like a gold-digger. Actually, he can't act so... you know. I wouldn't be surprised if he uses his "allowance" to buy her the new wedding ring.
That's all for now...

2ONEDAY
2ONEDAY is the international fan club/forum for 2am &2pm.
2am and 2pm are two separate Korean boy bands. They were created as one but I guess they have too many people so they split into two bands, *shrug*
That's not the point of this post.
The main point is...
2am... the time I go to bed.
2pm... the time I wake up on weekends.
=D

aDORKable
Adorable and a dork = adorkable
I love this term. Not a lot of people can fit under this term.
Darongi (Dara) is one of them who can fit nicely!
As you can see, she is stuck on a coat hanger. Don't ask me how she managed to do that but that image and her look are so adorkable!

White People Can't Spell
Have you ever realize this? If you read comments on YouTube videos or from their handwritten work, you will find out white people in general can't spell unless they use a spellcheck or people told them afterwards.
They always make fun of foreigners can't speak English. Well, it's hard for foreigners as English is not their first language. Fine, we'll let you have that. Our grammar is not the best but at least we can spell. White people can only spell something that's sound like the actual word. If they read back what they typed or wrote, they would see no problems even though we know it's completely wrong.
Why are white people like that? When I say white people, I mean North Americans like Canadians and Americans. English is their first language. Shouldn't they be experts in spelling on the top of the grammar thing?

Imagine you are at a hardware store, there are lots of workers who are capable to help you fix the wall, pipes, kitchen, bathroom, etc. If there is a pipe broken and the bathroom clogged, does the hardware store get the workers who work there to fix it or do they hire an outsider to fix the problem?
I (DON'T) KNOW EVERYTHING!!!
A team from NASA just discovered life underneath 600 feet of ice. It's a great discovery of course but what they assumed was a bit cocky and unprofessional in a scientific point of view. Here is what the statement in the article.
"It's pretty amazing when you find a huge puzzle like that on a planet where we thought we know everything," Stacy Kim said.
What bugs me is that last part: "we thought we know everything."
Silly humans, you will never know everything. You are just not capable. The world is sooo big and sooo deep. There are places you haven't been and can't access even on Earth itself. Stop assuming because we are humans, we err.

I am so glad that Fatso go what he deserved. That's what you get for not following instruction and doing it your own way and not admitting you are wrong.

I AM CANADIAN!!!
Canada has won the most gold in the 2010 Winter Olympics but it also become the most gold ever won by the host nation. With 14 Gold Medals and 26 medals in total. It's a new high for Canada. At the beginning, the medals and athletes weren't up to the expectation but during the last week of the Games, the medals came pouring it. On the last day of the Games, Canada Men's Hockey Team beat USA to win GOLD! What a way to finish the Games. People are celebrating on the streets and honking in their cars.
I feel so proud to be a Canadian at this moment.

Great Britain Whining
Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics may not be the best Olympics at the start based on numerous of errors at the beginning but one country continues to complain and whine about the hosting country and its people, Canadians. The British side should stop complaining about the weather, the snow, and sportsmanship in Canada.
It's not our fault that there is not enough snow for snow events. We couldn't control the weather. Also, we couldn't predict the weather 7 years ago when we were awarded as the hosting country for the Winter Olympics. Why are you British journalists, columnists, or paper writing idiots complaining about the weather when your country rains even more than us in a year. You guys never get to host a single Winter Olympics so don't criticize us about something we can't control.
About the sportsmanship you also complained about. Yes, we should show sportsmanship for the sports and we did for the most part. For Canadians athletes, we are over-excited to some people but you have to understand that we are the hosting country and winning a gold medal means a lot to them after training and spending so much money and time for so long. It's hard to contain the excitement. I dare you all British athletes not to smile, celebrate when you win gold medals in 2012 Summer Olympics.
You British people whine too much. Shut up already.
P.S.: Use and click the Google Search more than once every visit, please. Let me know if you have similar money generators. I'll do the same for you!

Makes You Think: 1
I was sitting in the can thinking... - yes, I do that a lot. My creative thoughts mostly come from sitting in the can. - what if you ask some workers at stores about condoms...
"Which one is the best?"
"Do they feel good?"
"What happen if they rip?"
Imagine the awkwardness and looks if you ask a female.... 0___0
P.S.: Use the Google search engine and click on the side Google Ads. It gives me money. I'll do the same for you, if you have any. THANKS!

Chinese "Greed"ting
In the Western world, Chinese has a bad rep for being cheap. Well, we are not cheap entirely. We just don't think certain things to be that expensive. After all, China did made majority of products. We KNOW how much they are worth.
That being said, CNY has brought a new low for being cheap. At those side vendors in Chinese mall, you can clearly see already bargain products. But being financially-wise Chinese, they like to bargain and haggle to get and pay for the lowest possible. Maybe I am just lazy or feel shameful sometimes to haggle. I usually just pay if I feel good enough. Traditional Chinese people like "C-Lai" and "Por Por" tend to haggle more than the males counterparts. They can be greedy at times but I think everybody likes free stuff if possible.
So don't call us cheap, we just handle financial matter than other people.

System Overload!!!
This is only relevant to those are Chinese/Taiwanese who live in the city of Vancouver, Canada.
As you know 2010 Winter Olympics is in 4 days, FEB 12, 2010. Two days later is Valentine's Day which is also Chinese New Year. Imagine the chaotic time around the city of Vancouver with visitors from literally around the world to come gather to watch the Games AND celebrate Valentine's Day. As for the athletes, they have to compete in the Games and probably can't celebrate with their love ones immediately. That's pretty chaotic times.
For those lucky Chinese couple, what would they do? They can't really celebrate Valentine's Day by themselves because it's tradition to celebrate CNY with their parents and relatives. They can't celebrate the day before because it's tradition to have family dinner with their parents and relatives.
The street in downtown will be filled with visitors and media shopping and enjoying the city. Many streets will be closed to allow the Games to proceed. So imagine a Chinese/Taiwanese couple living in Vancouver, they must be pretty occupied with three things happening at once.
Ending Question: You know how Taiwanese doesn't like being called Chinese because those political mumbo jumbo? Why do Taiwanese celebrate Chinese New Year? This can also apply to why Buddhists celebrate Christmas?
