I AM CANADIAN!!!
Canada has won the most gold in the 2010 Winter Olympics but it also become the most gold ever won by the host nation. With 14 Gold Medals and 26 medals in total. It's a new high for Canada. At the beginning, the medals and athletes weren't up to the expectation but during the last week of the Games, the medals came pouring it. On the last day of the Games, Canada Men's Hockey Team beat USA to win GOLD! What a way to finish the Games. People are celebrating on the streets and honking in their cars.

Great Britain Whining
Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics may not be the best Olympics at the start based on numerous of errors at the beginning but one country continues to complain and whine about the hosting country and its people, Canadians. The British side should stop complaining about the weather, the snow, and sportsmanship in Canada.
It's not our fault that there is not enough snow for snow events. We couldn't control the weather. Also, we couldn't predict the weather 7 years ago when we were awarded as the hosting country for the Winter Olympics. Why are you British journalists, columnists, or paper writing idiots complaining about the weather when your country rains even more than us in a year. You guys never get to host a single Winter Olympics so don't criticize us about something we can't control.
About the sportsmanship you also complained about. Yes, we should show sportsmanship for the sports and we did for the most part. For Canadians athletes, we are over-excited to some people but you have to understand that we are the hosting country and winning a gold medal means a lot to them after training and spending so much money and time for so long. It's hard to contain the excitement. I dare you all British athletes not to smile, celebrate when you win gold medals in 2012 Summer Olympics.
You British people whine too much. Shut up already.
P.S.: Use and click the Google Search more than once every visit, please. Let me know if you have similar money generators. I'll do the same for you!

System Overload!!!
This is only relevant to those are Chinese/Taiwanese who live in the city of Vancouver, Canada.
As you know 2010 Winter Olympics is in 4 days, FEB 12, 2010. Two days later is Valentine's Day which is also Chinese New Year. Imagine the chaotic time around the city of Vancouver with visitors from literally around the world to come gather to watch the Games AND celebrate Valentine's Day. As for the athletes, they have to compete in the Games and probably can't celebrate with their love ones immediately. That's pretty chaotic times.
For those lucky Chinese couple, what would they do? They can't really celebrate Valentine's Day by themselves because it's tradition to celebrate CNY with their parents and relatives. They can't celebrate the day before because it's tradition to have family dinner with their parents and relatives.
The street in downtown will be filled with visitors and media shopping and enjoying the city. Many streets will be closed to allow the Games to proceed. So imagine a Chinese/Taiwanese couple living in Vancouver, they must be pretty occupied with three things happening at once.
Ending Question: You know how Taiwanese doesn't like being called Chinese because those political mumbo jumbo? Why do Taiwanese celebrate Chinese New Year? This can also apply to why Buddhists celebrate Christmas?
