Hit and Run
Had a dream last night. I was in my car and there was another car with two people I recognize. I stepped on the gas pedal and try to hit them but I slammed on the brake inches before hitting them. What does that mean?

Mnet Asian Music Award 2010
Mnet Asian Music Award 2010 aka MAMA 2010 was a Korean music award show. It's like those year-end award show like everywhere else. This one is held at Macau, China back in the beginning of December. I was excited to watch this show since it was the first big Korean award show being broadcasted on a Chinese channel. Then, the disappointment came. Chinese dub over Korean speeches. It won't be bad if the dub was good but it wasn't!!! The dub sounded "live" and "improvised". The translation was really bad and monotone. For example, three different female Korean presenters were introducing but the dub was by the same person with monotone. They even dub people "hahaha"... WTF!!! This kind of show should be used with original sound and put subtitles under instead. I am very disappointed with the production by Fairchild TV. I think they also cut some scenes due to the choppiness of the show; it has no good flow.
The only thing that saves the horrendous Chinese dub was the performances.
Miss A had Chinese lyrics for "Bad Girl Good Girl" and "Breathe": refreshing
2PM had an artistic performance: love it! A LOT of cheers for Nichkhun
i-Me (Chinese girl idols group) lip-synced their way through the song: similar dances to KARA, SNSD, and T-ARA
Perfrume (Japanese girl idols group): Jpop songs... *shrug*
DJ Doc: very charismatic
Gummy: cool haircut, great performance and great vocal as usual
2NE1 pumped up the crowds with Clap Your Hands. Even Min from Miss A was dancing to it. 2PM's Wooyoung was singing to Don't Stop.
Huk Gak - winner of Superstar K2. Powerful voice.
Taeyang, TOP, and G-Dragon - awesome performance with their first GD&TOP's song. 2PM's Taecyeon is rocking with TOP's rap.
Chemistry - an extremely popular Japanese male group. Used to listen to them; still as nice now. Lots of fans from Macau. 2PM loves them, too.
Far East Movement - they rise to fame this year with Like a G6. Nice performance, very club feel.
Wonder Girls - they performed their hit song, "So Hot" but got more cheers when camera zoomed to Nichkhun, Junsu, Wooyoung, and Dara. They also performed "2 Different Tears" and finally, their worldwide hit, "Nobody". Hyelim was touching Nichkhun... big nono...
Yoon Eun Hye was presenting Album of the Year. Surprised to see her.
That's all I caught on TV. Overall, it's a good show.
Pros: all the performances by different artists
Cons: the dubbing, bad timing, bad translation, and bad pronunciation in English
Improvement: use subtitles next time
Rating: 7/10

Season's Greetings
A friend of mine once posted a question, "Why do we celebrate Christmas?"
For those religious people who answered, "The birth of Jesus Christ," they are not 100% correct. No one actually know the exact date of birth of Jesus Christ. The date is just an approximation and December 25th is just a widely accepted date. Isn't Jesus Jewish?
Now, ask yourself the same question, "Why do you celebrate Christmas?"
Why do non-religious people celebrate Christmas? The Jews celebrate Hanukkah, that's fair.
I don't want to ruin people's Christmas and their Christmas spirit. Just sit and think about this after this holiday.
Happy holidays!

Holiday Wishes
Not asking for much, maybe I am.
This holiday, I wish the homeless people will get some warm clothes if not a home.
Those who are in love, stay in love.
Those who are looking, found it.
Those who are looking for jobs, found them.
Those who are struggling in life, don't give up.
Life is a bitch, I know, so suck it up. I know I am.
As for myself, I don't need any materialistic things to make me happy.
Happy holidays!!!

Frustration
So frustrated today... ARGH!
I really need to get a punching bag before something bad happens.
I wish life is a living person so I can punch it.

Why Bother?
Why do I even bother having facebook or twitter or msn? No one talks to me anyways.
Does that mean I have no friends? Probably.
If I shut it all down, are people going to care or wonder where I went? Probably not.
That's why I don't like holiday season. It makes me lonelier than I already am.

Girl Groups Addiction
Can't stop listening to couple korean girl groups' songs lately. I usually have favourite ones like 2NE1 and KARA. These few days, I have been listening to Co-ed and T-ara.
Co-ed is a cool band as it is the first Korean "co-ed"/boys-girls-mixed idol groups that I've seen. Their songs are really nice and their outfits are not too revealing. Unfortunately, only couple of people manage to sing in each song and they are the same people which makes the rest of the group as backup dancers. I hope they get a chance to show off their actual vocal skills. My favourite is Chanmi because she can actually sings in the group and sings the most out of the girls. I Love You A Thousand Times is a great song to show off their vocal skills without autotune.
T-ara is another interesting girl group. Their song, "Why Are You Being Like This?", is a catchy song and I like that tune. It feels a bit oldies. It's hard to explain. I like that song. But they added a new member. Is she really needed? Who knows...
Now... SNSD, I personally think half of them aren't even needed except for image-impacted; hate me all you want because it is true. Someone actually did a rough estimate on how much time each member sings. That's not including the "all together chorus". SNSD has an average length of 9.4s. That's not much. For some songs, they don't even have a solo or line. I understand each song is different but why do we even need more than 5 members in a group. I think 5 is really pushing it, that's if they each have a special skills. SNSD is only famous because of their choreography dances, "cute" images, and catchy songs. They never really prove themselves vocal skill-wise except for Taeyeon and Jessica who did collaboration with other artists.
Personally, I think Co-ed can make it big if other members have a chance to show off their skills. Their songs are nice, too. Unfortunately, there is a rumor that a new female member will be added to them. WHY?! They don't need anymore backup dancers. My guess is media attraction. If each member attracts 10 fans, more members equal more fans. Look at SNSD!!! You can tell by now, I am not a fan of them. I don't hate them but I don't think they are a good vocal group as a whole. They just have lots of fanboys/fangirls who think they are cute. Some other girl groups or even solo artists deserve more attention, such as: Navi, Gummy, Brown Eyed Girls, and Lyn. But it's Korea, what do I know.

Makes You Think: 6
If a doctor is sick, does he/she self-diagnose their symptoms or do they go see a doctor?
If they decide to see a doctor, do they go to a doctor who is better or not as good as them?
